The nearest train station is Edinburgh Park, and is approximately a twenty minute walk. Visit Scotrail or National rail enquiries for train times.
By car
There is a visitor car park at Saughton House which can be booked by calling reception on the number above. Also various on-street car parking is available close by.
By air
The nearest airport is Edinburgh Airport which is approximately 20 minute drive from Saughton House. There is a direct airport bus which arrives at Waverley Bridge in the City centre. For up to date timetables or to plan your journey visit Lothian buses or use the journey planner.
On arrival please report to the main Scottish Government reception desk located at the main entrance to the building.
Wheelchair users can access the building through automatic doors to the right of the main entrance.

Language line - we subscribe to Language Line which gives access to interpreters via the telephone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
There is a cafeteria within Saughton House which provides meals and light refreshments. This is open from 08:00 to 10:30 for breakfast and 11:45 to 13:45 for lunch. Soft drink vending machines are located in the corridors. There is also a Costa Coffee open from 07:30 to 16:00.
