Additional courts have started operating around the country today as part of the Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service (SCTS) Courts Recovery Programme.

The Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service quarterly statistical bulletin is published today providing quarterly Official Statistics on criminal case activity in Scotland.

We are continuing to see increases in the positive case numbers reported in the Scottish Government figures on Covid-19. This is a stark reminder to us all that, although Scotland has now moved beyond ‘Level 0’, everyone should continue to act carefully, remain cautious and do all that we can to keep ourselves, our colleagues and our workplace as safe as possible.

The agenda for the Tribunals conference taking place on Tuesday 7 September has been published and is available to view.

The recent increases in positive case numbers reported in the Scottish Government figures on Covid-19 remind us all of the need to continue to be careful, cautious and sensible in all that we do in response to Covid-19.
