Following an internal review of the administrative procedures for utility warrant applications, the Scottish Court and Tribunals Service are updating the process.
The implementation of universal terms and conditions is intended to unify the approach across Sheriffdoms, bringing the utility warrant process in line with all other court application processes.
This new system will commence from 2 September 2024 and all applications from that date onwards will require to follow the new guidance.
