The Inner House Users Group met on 8 October 2024 in Parliament House, Edinburgh.

The Group provides a forum for consultation, discussion and feedback between Inner House judges, Inner House clerks, practitioners and other legal professionals involved in the conduct of business in the Inner House of the Court of Session.  The Group is chaired by Lord Pentland.

At the meeting on 8 October, the Group discussed livestreaming of cases and feedback provided by members was positive.  Members were provided with an update about the progress in relation to the drafting of new Inner House Rules.  The views of members were also sought in relation to the use of electronic documents in the Court of Session, and members were further advised that the SCTS is working towards the use of digital inventories of process in the Inner House.
