SCTS Research Access Guidance

The SCTS research access guidance has been amended with a new guidance document and various templates created for researchers to use to apply for research access.

A new webpage is also available and contains a number of useful documents which along with the guidance will assist researchers in applying for access to conduct research.

Access to conduct research in Scotland’s courts, tribunals, Office of the Public Guardian (OPG), to judicial office holders, tribunal members and SCTS staff can be applied for via SCTS. Permission to conduct research is obtained from the Lord President.

Once completed the research access templates along with any additional documents should be submitted to sctsresearch@scotcourts.gov.uk

You can contact the Senior Service Delivery Support Manager to discuss any matters relating to research by email at the email address above or by telephone on 0131 248 1877.
