The Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service is committed to improving its services and how they are provided to meet the changing needs and demands of the environment in which it needs to operate.
We are seeking feedback from people involved in Civil cases and we would welcome your feedback by taking part in a survey.
The SCTS Court User Satisfaction Survey 2021/2022 focussed on gathering feedback from court users in relation to Civil business launches this week and runs until 26 August 2022.
All court users who have attended court hearings either in person or virtually or have submitted documents in relation to Civil business are invited to take part provided they are over 16 years of age. The survey can be completed by court users who have taken part in Civil proceeding in the Court of Session, Scottish Land Court, Sheriff Appeal Court and/or Sheriff Courts.
Court User Satisfaction Survey can be accessed here.
You will not be asked for any personal details from which you could be identified, and none of the questions in the survey ask for any details about the case in which you were involved. The questionnaire takes around 15-20 minutes to complete and most questions either require a Yes/No response or ask for a rating on a scale from 1 to 5.
The survey covers a range of topics some of which are noted below:
- staff helpfulness and politeness
- electronic submission of documents
- virtual hearing attendance
- waiting to take part in proceedings
The SCTS Court User Satisfaction Survey is undertaken every two years and the last survey was completed in 2019. The results of the 2019 survey can be accessed here.
