Technology used by SCTS has achieved international recognition for the Change & Digital Innovation (CDi) team.

The Cisco Global Advocate Award ‘Hybrid Work Hero’ was presented to Unified Communications Consultant Stevie Doogan at a conference held recently in the Netherlands.

The award recognised the team's innovative approaches taken during the introduction and expansion of virtual hearing capabilities, whilst utilising Cisco’s ThousandEyes product to complement existing monitoring systems. They also used ThousandEyes to enhance the support capability in relation to hybrid remote work. This has benefitted court users as well as staff and the judiciary.

The judging panel recognised the unique challenges faced by SCTS and how CDi utilised ThousandEyes in a different way to most other organisations to address monitoring gaps. Stevie was also instrumental in assisting Cisco to identify and resolve a UK-wide issue with their Webex service.

Stevie said: “The award is recognition of the innovative work carried out by the wider SCTS CDi team.”
