All Scottish Courts and Tribunals will be closed on Monday 4 December for the St Andrew’s Day bank holiday.

All Scottish Courts and Tribunals will be closed on Monday 4 December for the St Andrew’s Day bank holiday.

The following arrangements have been made for all sheriffdoms to hold custody courts on Monday 4 December.

Lothian and Borders

  • Custodies for Edinburgh, Jedburgh, Livingston and Selkirk will call in Edinburgh Sheriff Court

Glasgow and Strathkelvin

  • Custodies will call in Glasgow Sheriff Court

North Strathclyde

  • Custodies for Paisley, Greenock and Dunoon/Lochgilphead will call in Paisley Sheriff Court
  • Custodies for Dumbarton, Oban and Campbeltown will call in Dumbarton Sheriff Court
  • A custody court will sit in Kilmarnock Sheriff Court

Tayside, Central and Fife

  • Custodies for Dundee, Perth and Forfar will call in Dundee Sheriff Court
  • Custodies for Kirkcaldy and Dunfermline will call in Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court
  • Custodies for Falkirk, Alloa and Stirling will call in Falkirk Sheriff Court

Grampian, Highland and Islands

  • Custodies for Aberdeen, Peterhead, Lerwick and Banff will call in Aberdeen Sheriff Court
  • Custodies for Inverness, Elgin, Tain, Wick, Kirkwall, Portree, Stornoway, Lochmaddy and Fort William will call in Inverness Sheriff Court

South Strathclyde, Dumfries and Galloway

  • Custodies for Hamilton, Lanark and Airdrie will call in Hamilton Sheriff Court
  • Custodies for Dumfries and Stranraer will call in Dumfries Sheriff Court
  • A custody court will sit in Ayr Sheriff Court
