New measures for our courts and tribunals come into force today (Monday 20 December) in response to the latest public health advice and the spread of the COVID-19 Omicron variant
These changes, announced on the 15 December, supplement the strong baseline safety measures we already have in place and include: new guidance for court and tribunal users who need to come to our buildings; revised arrangements for business in the Supreme Courts; and guidance for our Sheriff and Justice of the Peace Courts Users.
As has been the case throughout the pandemic, we rely on, and appreciate everyone’s ongoing co-operation to enable us to continue to support justice, despite the challenging circumstances that COVID-19 presents.
We will keep our approach under regular review in line with public health guidance and will provide updates as and when there are any developments or changes required.
