The First Minister recently announced a number of additional measures in response to the spread of the Omicron variant. On 15 December, in response, we announced a number of changes to supplement the strong baseline safety measures we already have in place.
We have published today our revised guidance for court and tribunal users who need to come to our buildings; the arrangements for business in the Supreme Courts; and guidance for our Sheriff and Justice of the Peace Courts Users. These will come into effect on Monday 20 December.

As has been the case throughout the pandemic, we rely on, and appreciate everyone’s ongoing cooperation to enable us to continue to support justice, despite the challenging circumstances that COVID-19 presents. We will keep our approach under regular review in line with public health guidance and will provide updates as and when there are any developments or changes required.
