The Tribunals (Scotland) Act 2014 creates a new, simplified statutory framework for tribunals in Scotland, bringing existing tribunal jurisdictions together and providing a structure for new jurisdictions. The Act creates two new tribunals, the First-Tier Tribunal for Scotland and the Upper Tribunal for Scotland, known collectively as the Scottish Tribunals.
The Judicial Appointments Board for Scotland invites applications from suitably qualified individuals who wish to be considered for appointment to the First-Tier Tribunal for Scotland, Housing and Property Chamber.
Your appointment will commence on 1 September 2017 to allow training to take place. You will not be asked to hear cases until 1 December 2017 when the private rented sector and letting agents work commences.

On present plans, the interviews will take place over the period Wednesday 10 May 2017 - Wednesday 7 June 2017.
