Auditor of the Court of Session Appointment

The Lord President has re-appointed Robin Macpherson as temporary Auditor of the Court of Session for an additional twelve months to 31 March 2022. Robin will also continue in his roles as Auditor of the All Scotland Personal Injury Court and the Sheriff Appeal Court.
Robin took up the post from April last year in what has been a very challenging time for everyone. Under his management the office of the Auditor has responded to those challenges, ensuring that taxations have continued even under the restrictions placed upon us all in response to the pandemic.
Robin said: “Much has changed over the last year. Through embracing technology taxation procedures have developed and become more efficient. I am delighted to be appointed for a further year and am looking forward to accelerating the process of taxation and to improving the experience from a user perspective.”
