The Disability Equality Scheme and Action Plan 2006-2009
The purpose of the Scottish Court Service (SCS) Disability Equality Scheme is to illustrate how we intend to promote equality for disabled court users and members of staff through mainstreaming equality of opportunity into all of our procedures, processes, functions and services.
The duty requires SCS to be proactive in addressing the barriers experienced by disabled court users and staff with a view to eliminating discrimination on account of their disability.
