Sheriff Courts Gazetteer

The information contained in this page will assist you in locating the Sheriff Court having territorial jurisdiction over a particular town, village etc. It is not exhaustive. In civil cases in particular, depending on circumstances, an action may sometimes be raised in a court other than that which has territorial jurisdiction. The Gazetteer is therefore an initial aid in finding the appropriate Sheriff Court. In cases of doubt, the court should be contacted to confirm jurisdiction.
