COMMERCIAL ACTIONS – COURT DRESS

As from 7th May 2008, and until further notice, it will no longer be the practice in the commercial court to require parties’ representatives at diets of debate to appear in formal court dress.

Formal court dress will continue to be required for all proof diets.  For the avoidance of doubt, proofs will be the only type of hearing in the commercial court for which formal dress will be required.

The same provisions will apply to all company petition cases being dealt with by the commercial court judges.
