New payment methods to be introduced during 2008:
- Standing orders will be introduced on a trial basis in selected courts from spring 2008 for the payment of instalment fines.
- Payment cards will also be trialled during the summer of 2008 to allow the payment of instalment fines by cash at payment points all over the country.
- Online payments will be introduced during 2008.
