SCS Publishes Report Into Loss of Marked Electoral Registers from Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court.
The Scottish Court Service (SCS) today published a report of the independent investigation, carried out on behalf of SCS by Bill McQueen, formerly the Deputy Chief Executive of the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service. He was asked to investigate and establish the facts surrounding the loss of the marked registers and to make recommendations to the SCS on management, procedures, systems and document handling to prevent a recurrence of such a loss.
