Scottish Court Service

The Scottish Court Service (SCS) was formed in 1995 and is currently an agency of the Scottish Government.

Purpose: Access to Justice - by providing the people, buildings and technology to support the operation of the Courts and the Office of the Public Guardian.

SCS aims to provide services to the public, professional users and the judiciary that are:

Scottish Court Service (SCS) headquarters provides the administrative and technical functions necessary to enable the smooth running of the Courts. This includes finance, estates, policy, procurement, information technology, training, guidance, communications, human resources and statistical analysis.
