The 2002 Review of the Practices and Procedure of the High Court of Justiciary by the Honourable Lord Bonomy
In his report, the Honourable Lord Bonomy suggested far reaching changes designed to modernise High Court procedures, reduce inconvenience to court users and provide a better environment for witnesses and other interested parties involved in court proceedings. The legislative vehicle for the introduction of many of these reforms is the Criminal Procedure (Amendment) (Scotland) Bill, which is currently being considered by the Scottish Parliament.
