The closing submissions in the proceedings of the Election Court at the Court of Session, Edinburgh will be streamed live on STV’s website and on YouTube.
The four day hearing will commence on Monday 9 November 2015, at 10am.
Cameras will only film closing submissions in the proceedings brought on by the legal challenge to the election of Liberal Democrat Alistair Carmichael as MP for Orkney and Shetland when the Election Court trial resumes.
Members of the public wishing to attend court will be informed in advance of entering the court that proceedings will be broadcast live.
Tweeting from the court room will not be permitted during the leading of evidence but the Court will permit members of the media to tweet from the court room during closing submissions following conclusion of the evidence only.
