Feedback from the 2014 Civil Service wide staff survey shows continuing positive results for SCS with the overall staff engagement score increasing to 64% - up 6% from 2012.
The Scottish Court Service participates in the Civil Service wide staff survey with all comparative results published at Civil Service People Survey 2014
Chief Executive Eric McQueen said: "I am incredibly proud of our staff who provide the people of Scotland with a high quality court service. This is recognised externally by our continuing award of Customer Service Excellence and I am delighted with the results of our survey which puts us in the upper quartile of high performers across the whole civil service. However we are not complacent, we will use the results of this survey to both listen and discuss with our staff where we can continue to make further improvements in the coming year.
"95% say they feel trusted to carry out their job effectively, 94% have a clear understanding of SCS’s purpose and (91%) recognise the personal contribution their work makes to delivery of our objectives."
