The Scottish Court Service (SCS) has published the organisation’s
Corporate Plan for 2014 - 2017.
Over the next three years, the Court Service will be at the heart of the most significant changes Scotland’s justice system has faced for more than a century.
SCS Chief Executive Eric McQueen explained:
"Our priority is to make sure that our service to the judiciary, the courts, the Public Guardian and the tribunals fully matches the expectations of 21st century Scotland.
"We have set out an ambitious programme that will deliver the justice reforms, with a strong focus on digital innovation to transform our services. Our planning has been heavily informed by the Judiciary, our staff and a wide range of justice partners and fully supports Scotland’s Justice Strategy.
"We are confident that, with the leadership of the Scottish Court Service Board, the excellence of our people and strong collaboration with others across the Justice system, we will realise our ambition to build a stronger Court Service."
