The events included tours, presentations, children’s quizzes and mock trials including the Big Bad Wolf in the dock to face charges for blowing down several houses.
Many justice partners also took part and, for the first time, a police dog handler accompanied by friendly canine Anya visited the sheriff and justice of the peace courts in Edinburgh.
The cells and dock were firm favourites with younger visitors while members of the public of all ages wanted to know more about how the justice system operates.
The courts which took part were: Alloa, Arbroath, Ayr, Cupar, Dunfermline, Edinburgh, Elgin, Glasgow, Greenock, Hamilton, Inverness, Kilmarnock, Kirkcaldy, Livingston, Paisley, Perth and Stirling,
